Your brand has an AI footprint. The question is whether it's working for you.
When a shopper asks ChatGPT for the best running shoes for flat feet, or asks Perplexity which sustainable cookware brand to trust, an answer is generated. Your brand is in that answer, or it isn't. AI visibility is the discipline of making sure it is, and that the answer reflects what your brand actually stands for.
Visibility
How often the answer engine names your brand when a shopper asks a question your category should be in. The most direct measure of whether you exist in this channel.
Placement & sentiment
Where in the response your brand appears, and how it's described. Being mentioned third, with a hedge, is not the same as being recommended first.
Citations
The URLs and sources the model pulled from to construct its answer. Citations are the supply chain of AI visibility. Influence the inputs, you influence the output.
