Straightforward interfaces make navigation and actions more intuitive, reducing the learning curve for new users.

The best AI visibility tools for agencies are the ones that let you run many client workspaces from one login, hand clients a report they understand, and keep the cost per client predictable as your roster grows. On those terms, Otterly is the cheapest per client at scale, KIME pairs unlimited workspaces with the strongest action workflow, and Profound and Peec AI suit agencies that want deeper per-client prompt sets and can accept higher or less transparent pricing.

This guide scores seven tools on what agencies actually pay and ship: real cost per client at 5, 15 and 30 clients, multi-client workspaces, white-label or client reporting, and whether "unlimited clients" really means unlimited. It also includes a scoring rubric, a monthly client report template you can copy, and a reporting workflow.

Updated 26 October 2026. Prices checked on vendor sites on 26 October 2026.

Disclosure: KIME makes one of the tools in this list. We've tried to be fair, and we checked every price on the vendor's own site on 26 October 2026.

Key takeaways

  • An AI visibility tool for agencies is software that tracks how often, where and how favorably each client's brand appears in AI answers from engines such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, across many client accounts at once.

  • At a workload of 25 prompts per client on three engines, run daily, cost per client ranged from about $26 (Otterly, 30 clients) to about $402 (Profound, 30 clients) in our math.

  • Only Otterly, KIME and Peec AI publish enough agency pricing to model all three roster sizes; Scrunch and AthenaHQ publish agency programs but not the limits needed to calculate cost per client.

  • None of the seven tools documents a fully native white-label client portal; most agencies deliver branded reports through Looker Studio, a paid PDF report, or view-only client access.

  • "Unlimited clients" usually means unlimited workspaces, not unlimited tracking: prompts, credits or responses remain the real cap.

  • KIME tracking data (Jul 26 to Oct 26 2026) shows one well-known brand's daily AI share of voice swinging between 0% and 19.6%, so client reports should use multi-day averages, not single-day snapshots.

If you want the wider market rather than the agency view, our guide to the best AI visibility tools covers brand-side buyers.

Cost per client at 5, 15 and 30 clients

Cost per client is the monthly software bill divided by the number of active clients, at a fixed tracking workload per client. It is the number that decides whether an AI visibility retainer is profitable, and none of the major agency roundups we reviewed calculates it across tools.

Assumptions. Each client gets 25 tracked prompts, on 3 AI engines, run daily (about 2,250 AI responses per client per month). We used monthly list prices before VAT, the cheapest plan or plan plus add-on that covers the workload, and no negotiated discounts. Euro prices are converted at the ECB reference rate of 1 EUR = 1.1193 USD (23 October 2026). Where a vendor does not publish the limit or price we need, we say so instead of guessing.

$615 total, $123 per client

$1,905 total, $127 per client

$3,870 total, $129 per client

Two notes. KIME's Agency Starter fits 5 clients at this workload but not 15 (15 clients at 13 prompts each would fit), so prompt depth matters as much as roster size. And AthenaHQ works at agency scale if you track weekly instead of daily: 25 prompts on 3 engines weekly is about 325 responses per client, so 5 clients fit inside Starter at about $59 each, while 15 clients do not. Branded Semrush Pro reports add $20 per client.

In short: at 15 or more clients, Otterly and Peec AI are the lowest published cost per client; Profound costs roughly four to twelve times more per client but includes 100 prompts and content credits per workspace; KIME is competitive at small rosters and moves to a quote above 200 prompts.

How we evaluated: the scoring rubric

We scored each tool from 1 to 5 on six criteria, weighted by what moves agency margin and client retention. The weighted total is out of 100. Pricing inputs come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked on 26 October 2026; feature inputs come from vendor pricing pages, help docs and agency pages. We did not run paid accuracy tests, so data quality is not scored.

Change the weights and the order changes: an agency selling content and strategy should weight workflow higher; one reselling monitoring should weight cost higher.

The tools, one by one

1. KIME

KIME is an AI search visibility platform built in Copenhagen that tracks 10 engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, Meta AI and DeepSeek. The Agency Starter plan costs €499 a month and includes unlimited client workspaces, unlimited pitch workspaces (5 prompts each), 200 unique prompts, 18,000 AI responses a month, daily runs on 3 engines, 10 seats and view-only client access. Enterprise unlocks all engines, guest accounts and up to 50 seats.

Where KIME is stronger: the Action Center turns visibility gaps into prioritized tasks you can assign to team members, which is what clients pay agencies for. Reporting can flow through the Data Studio connector or the MCP server into your own dashboards, and it leads on Nordic prompts. Where competitors are stronger: Otterly and Peec AI publish cheaper per-client paths above 200 prompts, and Semrush offers a ready-made white-label PDF. More detail on the KIME agency page.

2. Profound

Profound is an enterprise-focused answer engine optimization platform. Its pricing page now lists a free trial, a custom Enterprise plan and an Agency Growth plan that includes 400 AI Marketer credits a month per client workspace, but it shows no dollar amounts. Profound's own agency launch post priced each client workspace at $399 a month, with 100 prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, 5 seats and 10 pitch workspaces a month; third-party reviews report a $99 base fee. Profound is stronger on content generation and enterprise coverage (up to 9 engines), but it is the most expensive per client here and does not document white-labeling. See our KIME vs Profound comparison.

3. Peec AI

Peec AI is a Berlin-based AI search analytics tool. Its agency plans are sold by credits: Essential (10,000), Growth (25,000, aimed at 3 to 10 clients), Scale (65,000, aimed at 11 to 25+ clients) and Comprehensive (unlimited, annual). Peec's docs define a credit as one prompt on one model for one day, and credits are allocation slots you can move between client projects. Prices did not appear on Peec's agency page when we checked; independent reviews from July to August 2026 report $245, $495 and $795 a month. Perplexity is only included from Scale. A Looker Studio connector is available with an API key. Compare with KIME in KIME vs Peec AI.

4. Otterly

Otterly is an Austrian AI search monitoring tool with the most transparent agency terms in this list. Standard costs $189 and Premium $489 a month, both with daily tracking on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Agency Partner status, which you apply for after subscribing, raises prompts to 150 (Standard) or 500 (Premium) and adds unlimited workspaces, pitch workspaces, one invoice and branded Looker Studio reports. Extra prompts cost $99 per 100. Otterly's help center states it has no native white-label option. Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are paid add-ons, so engine coverage costs extra.

5. AthenaHQ

AthenaHQ is a GEO platform that sells by credits, where one credit equals one AI response. Starter costs $295 a month for 3,600 credits and lists 11 engines, including Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral, which is the widest entry-level coverage here. A free Essential plan includes 300 credits. Its agency program offers discounted licenses and pitch workspaces; discount levels are not published. It fits agencies with few clients or weekly cadences.

6. Scrunch

Scrunch is an AI customer experience and visibility platform. Its pricing FAQ lists Agency Core at $500 a month and Agency Enterprise as custom; the self-serve brand plans run from $300 a month (Starter, 350 custom prompts, 3 users) on the main pricing page. Its agency page describes one workspace for all brands, client guest access and prospecting licenses. What Agency Core includes in clients and prompts is not published, so we could not calculate cost per client. See KIME vs Scrunch.

7. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit

The Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit is a $99-a-month add-on with one project, one Brand Performance domain and 25 tracked prompts, on ChatGPT Search, Google AI Mode and Gemini, updated daily. Each extra domain costs $99, 50 extra prompts cost $60, and every teammate needs their own $99 license. Semrush is stronger where your client SEO already lives in Semrush, and its Pro reports ($20 per report per month) are the only documented white-label PDF in this list. It is weaker on multi-client economics because cost scales linearly with domains and users. See KIME vs Semrush.

Monthly client report template

An AI visibility client report is a monthly summary that shows a client where their brand appears in AI answers, how that changed, why, and what the agency will do next. Copy this structure; it fits on four to six slides or pages.

Section 5 deserves real space. KIME tracking data (Jul 26 to Oct 26 2026) on AI visibility software prompts found that answers drew on 3,622 different domains, the 10 most used domains accounted for only 16.3% of source uses, and 38% of domains were used only once. A report listing only the top three sources hides most of the opportunity. For how to tie these metrics to pipeline, see how to measure AI search visibility and connect it to revenue, and for the share-of-voice math, AI share of voice.

In short: lead with a 30-day average, show engines, categories, competitors and sources, then spend at least a third of the report on work shipped and next actions.

An agency AI search reporting workflow

AI search reporting for clients is the repeatable process of collecting AI answer data per client, turning it into a monthly narrative, and linking it to work the agency ships.

  1. Week 0, scope. Agree 25 to 50 prompts per client, split by funnel stage, product line and market. Version the prompt set so month-over-month comparisons stay valid.

  2. Weeks 1 to 2, baseline. Run daily for at least 14 days before you report a number. In KIME's 93-day dataset, leading brands' daily share of voice had a standard deviation of about 1.5 to 2.2 points, and one brand swung between 0% and 19.6%.

  3. Weekly, internal check. Review lost prompts, new competitor mentions and newly cited URLs. Turn each into a task with an owner.

  4. Monthly, client report. Use the template above. Share a live view-only dashboard or a Looker Studio report so clients can check numbers between meetings.

  5. Quarterly, review. Retire prompts nobody asks, add new ones from sales calls and search data, and reset targets.

Our research on URL volatility in AI search explains why cited pages churn, which is why we report averages, not daily ranks.

In short: baseline for two weeks, check weekly, report monthly on 30-day averages, and review the prompt set quarterly.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best AI visibility tools for agencies?

The best AI visibility tools for agencies in 2026 are KIME, Otterly, Peec AI, Profound, AthenaHQ, Scrunch and the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit. Otterly scores highest on cost per client, KIME on workspaces and action workflow, and Profound on enterprise depth. The right choice depends on roster size, prompts per client and whether you sell reports or execution.

How much do AI visibility tools cost per client?

AI visibility tools cost roughly $26 to $420 per client per month at 25 daily prompts on three engines, based on published prices checked on 26 October 2026. Otterly was cheapest at 30 clients, Peec AI about $53 at 15 clients, Semrush about $123 to $129, and Profound about $400 per client workspace. Several tools only quote larger rosters.

Which AEO tools for agencies offer white-label reporting?

Few AEO tools for agencies offer documented native white-label reporting. Semrush sells white-label Pro reports for $20 per report per month. Otterly offers branded Looker Studio reports to Agency Partners but says it has no native white-label option. KIME, Peec AI and Scrunch offer client dashboards, connectors or APIs, while Profound and AthenaHQ do not document white-labeling.

What does "unlimited clients" mean in GEO software for agencies?

In GEO software for agencies, "unlimited clients" usually means unlimited workspaces, not unlimited tracking. KIME and Otterly both allow unlimited workspaces but cap total prompts per plan, and Peec AI caps credits and projects by tier. Always check the prompt, credit or response limit, because that is what you actually run out of.

How many prompts should an agency track per client?

An agency should track 25 to 50 prompts per client for most retainers. Twenty-five prompts cover core category, comparison and brand questions in one market; 50 or more suit clients with several product lines or markets. Track fewer prompts daily rather than many prompts weekly when the client expects monthly trend reporting.

How often should agencies report AI visibility to clients?

Agencies should report AI visibility to clients monthly, using 30-day averages from daily data. Weekly internal checks catch lost prompts and new citations early. Single-day numbers mislead: KIME tracking data showed one brand's daily share of voice moving between 0% and 19.6% over 93 days.

Which engines should agencies track for clients?

Agencies should track ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and at least one of Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI Mode for most clients. Add Microsoft Copilot for B2B audiences, and Claude, Grok, Meta AI or DeepSeek when the client's buyers use them. Entry agency plans usually include three or four engines; more engines often cost extra.

Can agencies use AI visibility tools to pitch new clients?

Agencies can use AI visibility tools to pitch new clients through pitch workspaces. KIME offers unlimited pitch workspaces with 5 prompts each, Profound includes 10 a month on Agency Growth, and Otterly, Peec AI, AthenaHQ and Scrunch offer pitch or prospecting environments. A short audit showing competitors winning AI answers is a strong opener.

Is a Semrush subscription enough for agency AI search reporting?

A Semrush subscription is enough for agency AI search reporting only for small rosters already managed in Semrush. The AI Visibility Toolkit costs $99 per domain with 25 prompts on three engines, and every user needs a license. Beyond 10 to 15 clients, dedicated agency tools usually cost less per client and offer multi-client workspaces.
